aim4art is a voluntary community arts group, formed in 2009, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of painting and drawing in the Tees Valley. We aim to paint, aim to draw, aim to create art. We meet every Tuesday (10am-4pm) at The Barn, overlooking Hemlington Lake, Middlesbrough, TS8 9DA. We have no regular tutor, but support each other and organise a programme of visits and workshops. Edinburgh Trip
In February the group had a trip to Edinburgh to see the British Art Show and visit galleries. It was a really worthwhile day and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves. Here's Julia's reminder of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery - often the buildings are as interesting as the paintings:
