2025 Round-up 3

Although our planned trip to the Hepworth Gallery had to be cancelled, our September visit to Newcastle was a great success. We started at the Northern Summer Exhibition, held at the Newcastle Arts Centre, which also has an excellent art shop. We followed it up with visits  to the Laing Gallery and The Biscuit Factory, which always has an eclectic mix of contemporary work. No visit to Tyneside would be complete without including The Biscuit Factory Cafe.

Here are some of the pictures we saw - no details available (sorry!):

Also in September, the Heritage Gallery held its first Teesside Fringe Exhibition, to which most of our members contributed work. We hope that this will become a regular feature of the calendar.

Although this was our last major event of 2025, we finished the year with an entertaining session making Christmas decorations, followed by Lunch at th Cart House Cafe.

Ruth and Kate's Yorkshire Land and Sea Exhibition got us off to a great start, and was, as usual, beautifully hung by Jodie Athey at The Heritage Gallery. The same was true of the group's 'For The Love Of Art' Exhibition, which took place in March and April.

Here are a few examples of work from the Exhibition:
