More On The Art Cafe

aim4art (together with the Lakeside Art Group) raised £1034.55 on behalf of Trinity Holistic Centre. I know you've probably read this elsewhere, but I just like typing it.

Once again thanks to members of both groups for all the effort made.

Here are photos taken at the event:

Art cafe

Well what a response ! Brilliant day at our art cafe.
With visitors from other art groups, our local councillor, youth project leaders, friends
and relatives all contributed to a very successful event. Bet you're all shattered now!
Well done everyone.   Julia

Jane Veitch Workshop

Jane, who last visited us in 2010 , once again gave us a great insight into the way she works - a process of reflection and reduction, sometimes over a long period, which nevertheless results in an impression of great spontaneity. She asked us to think about and question our approach, particularly to composition.

Not Just Painting

Here's Gill Bradley with the sculpture she created for William Kidd of Seaton Hall

Gill and I were there with Cleveland Art Society to shown recent developments at Seaton Hall. Plans include a cafe and space for art workshops and a Nostalgia Mall with spaces to be rented at a reasonable rent by artists or art groups, photographers, antique sellers etc. There is also residential accommodation and a chance for walks through the grounds. Certainly worth looking out for.
