This Friday I was off to the Rheged Centre, just outside Penrith to see The Lakes Artists Society Winter exhibition. It was certainly worth a visit (it's open until February 2nd) though I didn't think it was as good as the 2012 summer exhibition in Grasmere.
What particularly caught my eye was a couple of pictures that conjured up the subject of 'Flight': Fiona Clucas' wonderful 'Arctic Blues' and Alan Stones' 'Take Flight' Click on the names to visit their websites

london printmakers exhibition at richmond station
One of my resolutions is to get out and about to more exhibitions so
I followed in Robs footsteps to see this showing
at the Station Richmond. Fabulous use of a building anyway
and the range and style of prints was just fantastic. Want to do an etching now!
Thanks for the tip Rob
